Hi, I’m Jen from Jen Dodrill Writes!
I’m a “retired” homeschool mom and a “retired” Navy wife!” I blogged about homeschooling for several years, but now I’m turning my attention to what I’ve always dreamed of…writing a book!
In August, 2023, I signed a 3-book contract with Scrivenings Press for my cozy mystery series!! Here’s a little blurb about the series:

Fun facts about me:
- We have 1 dog, plus 9 grandcats, & 2 granddogs
- More importantly, we have 3 beautiful grandkids!
- I make up songs to sing to my animals
- I didn’t drink coffee until I got married – over 38 years of coffee lover right here!
- My bachelors degree in Speech Communication was an accident (best to read the degree description)
- I intentionally got my masters degree in Public Relations
- I’ve never held a full time job
- Sticky notes are vital to my (& my family’s) existence
